Before You Start
Four things shorten the whole process. Gather them first and registration takes a couple of minutes rather than an evening.
That last item is not a formality. Money must move in and out under the registered name, so a card belonging to a partner or a parent will fail verification later even if today's deposit goes through.
Creating the Account
1. Open the registration form
The form is short and works on a phone without zooming. Some seasonal offers need a promo code entered at this point rather than later, so check the current promotion before submitting.
2. Enter your details
Email, password, country and account currency. Currency is the field worth pausing on: it is fixed for the life of the account, and choosing one you do not hold means paying a conversion spread on every deposit and withdrawal.
3. Confirm the email
Accept the terms, then open the confirmation link. Until you click it the account exists but cannot be funded. If nothing arrives within a few minutes, check the spam folder and then ask live chat to resend.
4. Deposit and opt in

Each check answers a different question. Photo ID proves who you are and that you are over 18. Proof of address confirms you live somewhere the licence covers. Payment proof ties the money to you, preventing an account funded with someone else's card.
Rejections are almost always mechanical: a cropped corner, glare over the document number, a statement older than the window, or a file compressed until the text blurs. Photograph documents flat, in daylight, on a dark surface.

The VPN is the least obvious of those. Operators block sign-in from IP addresses in restricted countries, so connecting through one can freeze a perfectly healthy account until support has reviewed it.
